ROBERT FALCO SCREEN SHOTS ******PRE-ORDER******

Robert Falco’s multi-layered painting practice uses airbrush, brushes, acrylics, vinyl, and mesh masking to explore how we perceive and process today’s visual landscape. Drawing from a personal image archive, Falco compresses fragmented moments into layered compositions that reflect how memory distorts time. Each layer interacts with the next, forming new narratives that mirror the complexity of lived experience.
Central to their process is the use of mesh, which acts like a digital screen—organizing, separating, and filtering imagery. When removed, the mesh reveals a final image where all layers coexist—not by obscuring one another, but by blending into a space of emergence—an “in-between” where perception shifts and meaning is reimagined.
Conventional Projects debut monograph, featuring over 100 Robert Falco screenshots taken between 2019-2025 functions as one- part painting study, one-part commentary on the nature of the personal archive, and one-part handheld exhibition of Falco's work, as many of the images featured serve as the matrix for his larger work.
